Female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) affects many women and girls across many communities in the United States, yet, like domestic violence and sexual assault, it remains hidden. This training will

• Introduce FGM/C, its connection to other forms of violence, and strategies for how organizations can build awareness and address FGM/C in their current programming.
• Provide insights into the cultural, social, and legal aspects of FGM/C, equipping them to better serve their communities and the survivors they work with.
  By integrating FGM/C awareness into domestic violence/ sexual assault services, organizations can enhance their support systems and provide comprehensive care to all survivors.
